Irene S. Leung

Irene S. Leung (United States) is a researcher and strategist. She is passionate about bringing complexity theory and nonlinear dynamics into systems change. With graduate degrees in history of art and international development, Irene has been working to connect social sciences, arts, and humanities with organizational change and development. Her first stint in Southeast Asia was in 2005-6 when she initiated pilot cultural development projects in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok. She has been living and working in Phnom Penh since early 2015. In June 2016, she convened and facilitated the first open space meeting with artists, arts managers, cultural researchers, and creative entrepreneurs in Cambodia.

In August 2017 Irene S. Leung is a co-curator of our workshop in Phnom Penh/Cambodia, which is part of the Sylt Foundation's long term programme Transformation and Identity.
